Follow the 2.4mi trail to the DeSoto Falls. Upper falls (200ft) is closed. Mid falls (90ft) is really nice. Lower falls (35ft) is ok. Very green in the summer. In the late 1880's, a plate of armor was found there--thinking it was from DeSoto's expeditions.
