One and only Racecourse which has Jump (Steeplechase) Grade I races, Nakayama Grand Jump in April and Nakayama Daishogai in December.
Also, the Japanese triple crown starts here as Satsuki-sho in April; follwed by Nippon Derby at Tokyo Racecourse, and Kikuka-sho at Kyoto Racecourse.
In December, Christmas Illumination is decorated on the 20m high Japanese cedar. It is one of the largest live Christmas Tree in Japan.
At Nakayama racecourse, you won't miss the statue of "HAISEIKO", the most popular racehorse in Japanese history. I swear no one would deny this view!!
