The 1995 restoration plaque indicated that the original stone panels depicted the Crucifixion, Edward the Confessor, The Civil War (UK) and the wool trade.
Second plaque indicates it was restored in 1878 to commemorate a local individual’s contribution to the village. (very hard to read the ancient script)
