[FR] Vingt ans après, Monsieur Pommery le rejoint, Henri Vasnier devenant le financier de la Maison.

Suite au décès prématuré de Monsieur Pommery, son épouse, Jeanne-Alexandrine Louise prend la direction de l'établissement en 1858. Courageuse, elle reprend les affaires léguées par son mari. Vive et intelligente, elle conduit la Maison vers le succès et la gloire en inventant l’image de marque Pommery au travers d’un style et des opérations publiques au Domaine.

Ce domaine, d’une superficie de 50 hectares, renferme dix-huit kilomètres de caves d’exception ainsi que de somptueuses Crayères gallo-romaines, où reposent 30 mètres sous terre, 20 millions de bouteilles à une température constante de 10° C.

Le Service Visites et la Boutique sont ouverts :
- de début avril à la mi-novembre : tous les jours, week-ends et jours fériés, de 9h30 à 19h,
- de la mi-novembre à fin mars : tous les jours, week-ends inclus de 10h à 18h
- fermeture annuelle du 24/12/2008 au 01/01/2009.

[EN] Under the guidance of Alexandre's widow, Louise Pommery, the firm was dedicated to Champagne production and soon became one of the region's largest Champagne brands.

Upon Alexandre's death in 1860, his widow Louise Pommery assumed full control of the business. She purchased 120 limestone and chalk pits, so-called crayères, carved underneath 12 miles of the city of Reims by Roman soldiers during their occupation of Gaul. These unique cellars allowed her to store and age hundreds of thousands of bottles in a temperature-controlled environment. Many other Champagne houses later followed suit.

She was a lively and intelligent woman and brought the Champagne House success and glory by inventing the Pommery brand image thanks to public relations operations carried out at the Estate.

The Estate, of 51 hectares, contains18 kilometres of cellars and gallo-roman chalk pits, where lay down 20 million bottles at 30 meters underground at a constant temperature of 10 degrees Celsius.

The visitors Department and the Boutique are open:
- from beginning of April until mid-November, every day, week-ends and Bank Holidays included from 9.30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- from mid-November until the end of March every day, week-ends included from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- close between the 24/12/2008 to the 01/01/2009 included.
