The plane is painted in a Vietnam War
camouflage scheme and bears the same markings as the aircraft flown by
Lance Sijan, a Bay View native, who attended the Air Force Academy, was shot down and captured over North Vietnam, and was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroic actions as a POW.
