Located on the west side of Brookings County, South Dakota, Sinai has a population of 120 as of July 2007, a 7% decrease since he 2000 census.
Norwegian, German, Dutch, and Irish peoples make up the ancestry of this small town.
Lake Sinai is within minutes of the town and its deep waters afford great fishing and boating opportunities for the sportsman.
The town is about 20 minutes drive from Brookings, SD and South Dakota State University.
The school closed years ago and the children are divided up between nearby schools.
