This is one statue in a series of bronze stautes that the village has placed around the town of Bolingbrook. This particular statue is placed in front of the Freedom fountains in Bolingbrook. It is of a small boy and small girl playing with an American flag. It was placed at this location because this is along the route that the Bolingbrook Pathways Parade takes place every year. The type of flag the children are holding is the kind passed out during these kinds of parades. What makes this statue unique is that even thought it is cast in bronze the flag has the red white and blue colors.
