[EN] The glow of the color is due to the fact that, meant to be seen close-up, they were painted, like all the domestic glass of the time, with colors embedded in the glass itself with affixed enamel. Attributed to Pinaigrier, Jean Cousin Perier, E. Leprince, they are considered the second best collection in Paris, after the windows of the Sainte-Chapelle.
The different subjects of the stained glass windows (designed late 16th c. or early 17th c., completed in 1622), are almost all related to the Eucharist and Salvation through Christ; they can often be paralleled to scenes of the Old Testament.
