The Masonic Temple in Bristol, RI, sits on the corner of Hope Street and Church Street in a block by itself. It is at the south end of downtown Bristol and across the street from another block of stores.
When you look at the front of the building and approach the entranceway in the center, there are two doors. The door straight ahead has gold letters across the top saying, "St. Alban's Lodge F.&A.M". There was a paper posting information about the Masonic Child Identification Program (Masonic CHIP) and another was a Building Permit for some work on the roof. To the right is the door to Leo's Restaurant, which has a white tiled floor and nice large windows to sit, eat and enjoy watching the cars and people go by. I ate at this location and found the food to be very good.
According to the Grand Lodge of Rhode Island web site, St. Alban's Lodge has been around since 1802, which means it recently celebrated its 200th anniversary! It meets on the second Wednesday of the month. This link goes to the RI Grand Lodge listing for the lodge.
