Quick Description: From a paleogeográfico this discovery in Portugal seem to show that the Upper Jurassic, there is therefore about 140-150 Ma BP, there are still links between North America and Europe.

Long Description:
Do ponto de vista paleogeográfico esta descoberta em Portugal parece demonstrar que no Jurássico Superior, há portanto cerca de 140-150 M.a B.P., ainda existiriam ligações entre a América do Norte e a Europa, o que põe em dúvida que o Atlântico Norte já estivesse nessa altura completamente aberto como geralmente se admitia. A presença de Camptosaurus no Jurássico Superior de Inglaterra e da América do Norte.
