Built in 1792, the Friends School (Quaker School) sits on the corner of York and Penn Streets in historic Burlington, New Jersey. Just to the side, behind a wrought iron fence, sits a time capsule.

The City of Burlington sealed this time capsule o May 20, 1979, and it is set to open on Burlington's 400th birthday on July 2, 2077.
The time capsule is marked by a "headstone" encircled by a wrought iron fence to the side of theFriends School. Some wording on the marker reads "Our Heritage is our Future as well as our Past".
