Beaver Lake Nature Center is located near Baldwinsville, New York and has been open to the public since 1980. Here, visitors will find a diverse variety of wildlife and plant life available for their viewing pleasure. There are 8 nature trails available for walkers, hikers and bikers, from the Arboratum Trail that is .3 miles long to the Lake Loop Trail that goes completely around Beaver Lake, with .75 miles of boardwalk, totaling 3.0 miles long. The Pitcher Plants here at Beaver Lake can be found on the Bog Trail, a mostly boardwalk trail that circles the perimeter of the bog. A stopping point, located at an area that is home to many unique plants, has signage indicating an area of bog that is home to many Pitcher Plants. The Bog Trail loop covers about .6 mile, almost completely a floating boardwalk with easy walking from the main trails. Admission to Beaver Lake Nature Center is only $2.00 per vehicle. The nature center is open from dawn to dusk everyday except christmas.
