This dog statue is in Welch Park at the intersection of Huran Drive and Clarise Drive in the Evergreen area of San Jose, CA. The dog's "fur" is a mosaic or many different colored glass, china and shell objects.

There is no marker or plaque associated with the statue saying when it was placed.
