This benchmark bolt is located along along the old Bend-Burns Road, about 12 miles west of Hampton and about a mile south of U.S. Hwy 20. The benchmark bolt is set in boulder about 235 feet NW of PB0043. The bolt was probably set by the U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey in 1920.

ABOUT 9.8 MILES NORTHWEST ALONG U.S. HIGHWAY 20 AND 1.9 MILES WEST ALONG THE OLD BEND-BURNS ROAD FROM HAMPTON, DESCHUTES COUNTY, 11.5 MILES SOUTHEAST OF BROTHERS, 186.0 FEET WEST OF A NORTH-SOUTH FENCE, SET IN THE TOP OF A ROCK, 144.0 FEET NORTH OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE ROAD, 0.4 MILE EAST OF A WELL AND IRON TANK, A BOLT.
