This time capsule was placed on May 5, 2001, by the Raintree Council of Girl Scouts of America. It will be opened in 2026. This capsule is the second one the Girl Scouts placed at this location--the first was placed in 1976 and opened in 2001. The old tablet lies alongside the new one.
The capsule can be found in Lincoln State Park near Lincoln City, Indiana. It is buried near the base of a Moon Tree (also a Waymark) that was planted by the Raintree Council in 1976.
