The cemetery and mausoleum is on the west side of Garrett and currently on the edge of Town. The cemetery was started by Father August Young of the Catholic Church. He also started the Sacred Heart Hospital. Both the catholic church and the Sacred Heart Hospital are nearby waymarks if you wish to check them out.
History:
The cemetery was bought and developed in 1897. It was bought with the funds of Father August Young. He was the priest for Saint Joseph Church that is in town. He was also associated with the start of the Sacred Heart Hospital in town.
