This coastal California Redwood tree growth display has several labels at different points in the trees life, the centermost one indicates the tree began life around 452 AD, and lived until 1910, at which point, it was cut down. Other points of interest mentioned are, declaration of independence signed, the first 100 years of the trees growth, along with a couple of other dates that I somehow forgot to photograph. The Center is open each day from dusk to dawn and the cost, per vehicle, is $2.00. There are several trails here for those who like to take walks in the woods and take in nature.
