A local newspaper, the Almaden Resident, had a feature story in 2005 about God's Little Acre. The owner, Phil Anzalone, was born and raised on this land. One of Phil's specialties is grafting. There are apple trees in the nursery that produce six different kinds of apples, each on a different branch. Pear tress producing six types can also be found. At one time Frank had a tree that bore 80 different fruits and flowers.
