The John McLoughlin House is a unit of the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site administered by the National Park Service. The fountain was originally dedicated June 18, 1911 and was placed by the Woman's Club of Oregon City. It has been renovated by the Woman's Club twice since it was placed.
