This parking lot and trailhead is on Route 101, east of Peterborough. Parking lot is unpaved, can be soft in wet weather.

The trail heads directly up Temple Mountain, and along with the nice views, there are several stone chairs arranged around the trail!

If you cross 101 from the parking area, you can hike up Pack Monadnock, through Miller State Park to the peak's fire tower.
