The last palindrome we attempted had us in the middle of a blackberry bush in Little Paxton within 2m of our goal, but the prickles prevented us from getting there.
This time it was easy. It was a lovely spring day and we walked the length of the northern end of Sharnbrook Summit Nature Reserve to reach our palindrome and to explore a bit further. This traverses the top of the Sharnbrook Tunnel underneath which runs the railway line.
Nearby the recycling factory at Goosey Lodge, Wymington can be seen smoking in the background. Also the track which runs along the side of the tunnel is home to a popular motorcycle course.
