If you are standing on Springdale Road you cannot see the weather station. You have to walk to the rear, on the paved patio area (where the picture cutouts are) and look up to the left, on the corner of the A frame of the "barn" is the weather station rising about 10 feet off the roof.
I have never noticed this before and certainly not from the normal vantage points. I was also able to walk to the front and walk up to the main farm-working area, away from the commercial center, and could see the station as well. AN observation of the photo gallery will reveal various perspectives of the station as pictures were snapped from various angles.
I observed the following instrumentation: hygrometer (confirmed by personal), rain gauge, thermometer, and an anemometer. There may have been something there to measure barometric pressure but the binoculars only got me so far. Also, there is a little pointy thingy which reminded me of a weather vain; perhaps it points out wind direction. This is a great place to visit with the children. You can learn more about Springdale Farm by visiting the other benchmarks located here as well.
