The Memorial sits just off the roadside in front of business complexes and nearby schools. The road name is Town Center Blvd.

It can be visited 24/7 and is lighted for night visiting. There are two memorial benches as well for visitors to sit and remember all these people who lost their lives for our country and us.

The stone wall reflects the names of those servicemen from this area.

There are listings for WWI, WWII, Korean War, Vietnam, War on Terror and Police, Fire and Rescue.

Who Put it Here?: Fleming Island Business Park is behind the project. It is a public-private partnership formed by Jerry Agresti, president of Developers Realty Group Inc., and Jack Myers, president of Reinhold Corp.

Description of Memorial:
This area is available for visitors 24/7 and is lighted for night visiting. They have memorial benches as well as a three flag pole. The monument is in a semicircular pattern of marble and behind it is a large man made pond with huge fountain that sprays behind the monument. The memorial -- the first of its kind in Clay County --forms a 45-foot-long wall, consisting of five 9-foot-long panels. Veterans' names from WWI, WWII, the Korean War, the Vietnam War and the war against terrorism and Police, Fire and Rescue (those who enlisted from Clay County or named Clay County as their permanent residence) is embossed on the wall.
