Since 1989 Speedy Lohr's BBQ, on Hwy 150, Arcadia, NC a community just outside Lexington, NC. Roger & Lisa Lohr have a classic Lexingtron Style "Pit Cooked" BBQ stand if there ever was one. Had to photograph the wood pile from the inside this time, but only real pit cooked BBQ stands have wood piles. That wood smell is unique to pit cooked BBQ, and basically if you can't smell it from the parking lot. It ain't pit cooked. Very nice waitstaff, and clean brightly decorated inside. Stop by and taste a little bit of heaven!
