During the ice season (September-March) the GCCC is home ice for Canandaigua Knights Hockey Team and Canandaigua Academy Braves Hockey Team.

In addition to the high school teams, there is an adult hockey league. They have a Learn to Skate Program, Public Skating, Skate and Shoot, Ice Time Rentals and Birthday Parties on Ice.

The non-ice season runs from April - August. The Civic Center has hosted The Circus, Tool Shows, Book Sales, Auto Club Shows and Indoor Lacrosse to name a few.
