Point Mills Arsenic Refinery
These modest remains are all that survive of Point Mill Arsenic Refinery. The “British Arsenic Company”, operated the works for a century ending with the outbreak of World war Two. The arsenic refined was famed for its high quality throughout Europe and beyond.
Reclamation work carried out by Carrick DC in Feb. 1995.
