This area was once planned to be Allegheny Gorge State Park. Pennsylvania acquired the land and made some improvements before running out of funds. Today it stands as a large State Games Lands with 27 miles of trails. If you are willing to make a five-mile loop, you will be able to enjoy this overlook as well as the quiet beauty of Dennison Run.
There is a large parking area at N41 16.132 W79 52.322. From here, if you walk down the gated gamelands roads for a quarter mile, you can follow the signs from that point until you reach Dennison Point Overlook.
There are also the remains of a large iron furnace at the base of Bullion Run which is marked by trail signs and can be seen while in the area.
