Killed at age 42 during the war of 1812 his marker is visible for miles around, standing 185 feet atop the Niagara Escarpment, his remains are entombed below it.

This is the second marker, the original was blown up on 17 April 1840. This one was rebuilt in 1859.

There is plenty of parking, a huge park and many htorical plaques throughout the area.

Nearby is also the Southern terminus of the Bruce trail
Description:
Brock was the British commander of forces for this area of Upper Canada durign the war of 1812 and was killed during an attempted American invasion of the colonies. He was a Major-General at the time.
