The setting of the labyrinth is the natural garden area of the SCV Water District HQ, next to a large pond, abundant with wild fowl.

This boundaries of this labyrinth are made from a leafy design interspersed with animals, birds, fish and insects etched in concrete. Along the labyrinth path are several quotations, all having something to do with ecology or water, such as:

"You have to hold yourself accountable for your actions,
and that's how we're going to protect the Earth."
Julia Butterfly Hill

and:

"The river moves from land to water to land, in and
out of organisms, reminding us what native peoples
have never forgotten: that you cannot separate the
land from the water, or the people from the land."
Lynn Noel, Voyages: Canada's Heritage RIvers

At the center of the labyrinth is a stone with a quote:

"You're glumping the pond where the
Humming-Fish hummed!
No more can they hum, for their gills are all gummed
So I'm sending them off.
Oh their future is dreary
They'll walk on their fins and get woefully weary in
search of some water that isn't so smeary

… UNLESS someone like you cares a whole
awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not."
Dr. Seuss, The Lorax

In addition, this labyrinth is featured in the geocache GCE6D2 - Watershed Down.
