This 1½-mile trail by the Forest Preserve District of Will County provides a series of interpretive plaques that relate the history of the Joliet Iron Works on two levels: the process of steel making and is laborers.
Trail itself is mostly sloping concrete sidewalk with a few stairs, so full accessibility is possible if you do not mind backtracking.
