Headquarters of the Athens-Clarke Heritage Foundation (a private, non-profit historic preservation organization), this truncated triangular building is an Athens classic. The Firehall, built in 1901, is a Victorian Romanesque two-story brick building, which has been beautifully restored and sits at the intersection of Hill Street and Prince Avenue, anchoring one end of the Cobbham Historic District. The street level has been developed into a gallery and a meeting facility. This versatile space can accommodate lecture-hall seating, seated dinners, or stand-up receptions for up to 100+ people. The Firehall is equipped with a small catering kitchenette.
