15 years of the Monterey History and Art Assn. Ltd.
Commanding officer, Presidio of Monterey, 1928-1930
Fort Ord, 1941-1942. Member of Rough Riders of Spanish
American War.

Col. Fitch was also the author of a military textbook, still in print Estimating Tactical Situations and Composing Field Orders (1909)
