In 1889, John T. Murphey and Daniel Floweree decided to build on the Fort Myers Riverfront. They tossed a coin to see who would get the corner lot. Murphey won.
Georgian Revival. C.S. Caldwell and G.T. Barker, architects. 2 and a half stories, frame, balustraded widow's walk, wide lst-floor porch. One of the first and one of the few remaining residences of its style.
