This gate takes you from the Wedding Gardens to the Tropical Courtyard. It's open most of the time but you can easily open it if it's closed.
The Florida Botanical Gardens is part of Pinewood Cultural Park. The gardens has 30 acres of cultivated gardens and 90 acres of natural landscapes. The special areas of the gardens include a patio garden, herb garden, tropical fruit garden, native plant garden, seasonal plantings display area, succulent garden, butterfly garden, bromeliad garden, palm garden, wedding garden, tropical walk, tropical courtyard. Along with the gardens, over 150 types of bird, mammals and reptiles have been documented here in the natural area of the park.
The gardens are open daily from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Admission is FREE!
The closest parking lot is off Walsingham Road, across from Walsingham Park. Once you enter off Walsingham Road, take your first right and drive all the way down to the end. Park on your left. You can also enter the gardens from Ulmerton Road and 125th Avenue. Those coordinates are N27° 53.021 W082° 48.692. There are maps located throughout this park to help you find where you need to go.
