Rock pyramid monument placed near the battle site of where U.S. Army troops fought three allied American Indian tribes. The monument was build in 1935 and listed on the Washington State Heritage Register in 1970.

Monument is located off of HWY 2 and can been seen from the enterance to Fairchild AFB.

SEPTEMBER 5, 1858
IN WHICH U.S. TROOPS UNDER COMMAND OF
COL. GEORGE WRIGHT
DEFEATED THE ALLIED - COEUR D'ALENE
PALOUSE AND SPOKANE INDIANS."
