The Pine Creek Gorge is nearly 30 miles long, and there are many areas to view it from, but I gave the coordinates for a plaque in Leonard Harrison State Park. There is a large viewing area that is handicap accessable. This gorge has been carved by glacial runoff and is nearly 1000 feet deep. Bring your binoculars, you may see a bald eagle or two, or some deer, or perhaps a black bear. If you have the time, PLEASE, hike the Turkey Path. It is very steep, but well worth the trip. You will pass by waterfalls, and some wonderfull plant life. I've seen Jack-in-the-pulpits blooming here in early june, but you have go down the trail to see them.
