The directions to this benchmark state that it is several inches 'above' the elevator shaft. The elevator shaft is intact, the benchmark should be as well.

DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1973 (JDS) THE STATION IS ABOUT 4 MILES WEST OF DOWNTOWN ST PETERSBURG, 2 MILES WEST OF THE JUNCTION OF U.S. HIGHWAY 19 AND U.S. HIGHWAY ALTERNATE 19 (5TH AVENUE NORTH) IN ST PETERSBURG, 0.2 MILE SOUTH OF THE JUNCTION OF U.S. HIGHWAY ALTERNATE 19 AND 58 STREET NORTH AND ON THE ELEVATOR SHAFT OF THE MENORAH CENTER BUILDING (250 58TH STREET NORTH) AS DESCRIBED. TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE JUNCTION OF U.S. HIGHWAY 19 AND U.S. HIGHWAY ALTERNATE 19 (5TH AVENUE NORTH) IN ST PETERSBURG, GO WEST ON HIGHWAY ALTERNATE 19 FOR 2.0 MILES TO THE JUNCTION OF 58 STREET NORTH. TURN LEFT AND GO SOUTH ON 58 STREET NORTH FOR 0.2 MILE TO THE MENORAH CENTER BUILDING ON THE RIGHT AND THE STATION ON THE ELEVATOR SHAFT AS DESCRIBED. STATION MARK, STAMPED MENORAH 1973, IS A STANDARD DISK SET IN A SQUARE CONCRETE POST PROJECTING ABOUT 4 INCHES ABOVE THE ROOF OF THE ELEVATOR SHAFT. IT IS 15.75 FEET NORTHWEST OF THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE ROOF OF THE ELEVATOR SHAFT, 15.55 FEET NORTHEAST OF THE SOUTHWEST CORNER, 15.40 FEET SOUTHWEST OF THE NORTHEAST CORNER AND 15.20 FEET SOUTHEAST OF THE NORTHWEST CORNER. HEIGHT OF LIGHT ABOVE STATION MARK 1 METER.
