These Lincoln Highway markers are combined with a stone monument to John Edward Hopley, who was the first Ohio consul to The Lincoln Highway Association.

This large monument is located alongside the Lincoln Highway commemorates the life of local politician and businessman John Edward Hopley. In addtion to being the Ohio leader in the development of the Lincoln Highway, Mr. Hopley started the local newspaper and served his country as foreign consul in two countries under two presidents.

There is no area to pull off so to visit safely, you will need to park nearby and walk to the marker.
