A road used to go into this park like area. It is completely undeveloped, and the road goes both ways from the trailhead into loops.

The bridge was part of the state park system until 1982 when the property was transferred to the NY DEC from the Office of Parks and Recreation.

The bridge crosses the inlet to Buck Pond.
