The Masonic Temple in Portsmouth, NH, is easily visible at the corner of Middle Street and Miller Avenue. The building is painted mustard. The actual address is 351 Middle Street. There is a 'house' portion that faces Middle Street and the addition portion that is visible from Miller Avenue.

There are three lodges that meet in this building: St. John's Lodge No. 1; St. Andrews Lodge No. 56, and Triple-Eight Travelers' Lodge No. 32. P.H.A. All are within the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of New Hampshire.

St. Johns Lodge claims to be the oldest continuously operating lodge in the country. The lodge dates back to 1736 and state that only Boston, MA (1733), Philadelphia, PA (1731), Charleston, SC (1736), and Savannah, GA (1734) had lodges with charters or records that were older. St. Johns meets on the first Wednesday of the month.

The three lodges put on a breakfast on the first and third Sunday of the Month.
