This Smokey Bear was found on January 3rd, 2009, which, presumably, is why he has a Santa hat on his head.
He is located across the street from the Ramapo Lake trail head and can easily be seen from the road. There is a lot of parking, but the area is quite busy much of the year, so parking can be scarce at times.
This particular sign shows the fire danger for the day.
