"Enigma" is the film based on the book by Robert Harris about the decoding of the shark cipher during World War II. The main stars are Kate Winslet and Dougray Scott.

The location was enhanced with wartime huts around the grounds as the story takes place in 1943. The actual location of Bletchley Park lies further to the south west where a museum is housed with exhibits of Enigma machines. Chicheley Hall is a grand house in a state of good repair, ideal for the location shots, though not the same as the actual Bletchley Park.

Bletchley Park was home to the cryptanalysts who successfully decoded the Enigma code in real life.
