The area is very diver-friendly. The area is great for beginners and many training courses are done within the park. There are kelp forests and many local fish. There is no fishing allowed nor are boats allowed in the park. The dive area is marked by strings of buoys. There are a few shipwrecks and a dive platform to look at. Divers are likely to see orange garibaldis, yellowtail, and white and black bass. Seals and sea lions frequently sighted. There is a big sheephead who hangs around too.
