The Hometown heroes memorials started with a simple Viet Nam memorial. In a small garden outside the Hazel Park City Hall is a Boulder and plaque as a memorial to the men of Hazel Park who died in Viet Nam.

This memorial has been here for over 30 years, and is a small towns way to honor it's losses to the Vietnam war.
