This peace pole stands in the lawn in front of the bandstand on the square in Westfield, New York.

This peace pole was dedicated May 22,1993 and was placed by the Chautauqua - Westfield American Association of University Women. The pole has a prominent place on the town square in close view of the bandstand. One of the languages represented on the pole is that of the Seneca Nation. Their tribal lands stand nearby. This ia also the first peace pole that I have noted with the prayer in braille.
