This is an ammored wheeled vehicle which was used by the U.S. Air Force Security Forces to provide security and defense of the missile launch control facility located here.

This is a pretty cool "Peace Keeper" vehicle. You no longer see these in use by the military, however; some law enforcement agencies are now using this type of surplus military vehicle for their tactical (SWAT) teams.
Location restrictions:
Vehicle is maintained in the locked fence permeter of Delta-01 Lauch Control, part of the Minuteman Missile National Historic Site. The vehicle can be seen through the fence. Go to http://www.nps.gov/mimi/ for more information on the hours of operation inside.
