Harvey the Rabbit is an old "service station man" with a rabbit's head. It somehow survived the roadside purges of the 1960s. He was featured three times in the 2001 strips. This Waymark is one of those occurrences. According to RoadsideAmerica.com, Harvey has been seen holding many objects around holidays -- a Christmas tree, a giant pumpkin, turkey, heart and an American flag. There are even rumors of Harvey holding a box of Girl Scout Cookies back in the 1990s. Directions: From Portland take US 26, the south on Rte 217. Take the Hwy 8 (Canyon Drive/Tualatin Valley Hwy) west. Harvey Boat Works, Inc. is located on the left after traveling several miles.
