Normally you only see the guests of the Inn at the pool, but people can come just to enjoy the spa treatment available at the Inn. The Madonna Inn website has this to say about this beach entry style pool:

"The pool features a 30-foot beach-style entry, designed in a configuration that allows for lap swimming. The nearby workout room provides the latest in exercise equipment and the surrounding area is enhanced with a 45-foot cascading waterfall that flows into an enchanting lagoon below.
