This benchmark is located along the old Bend-Burns Road about 13 miles west of Millican. The cap is set about 65 feet east of road centerline in draw bottom in flat rock surface. The cap was set by the U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey in 1943 and was marked A372.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1943. THIS MARK IS ABOUT 13.0 MILES SOUTHEAST ALONG U.S. HIGHWAY 20 AND ABOUT 3.3 MILES SOUTH ALONG THE OLD BEND-BURNS ROAD FROM THE RAILWAY STATION AT BEND, DESCHUTES COUNTY, 1.1 MILE NORTH OF THE RUINS OF THE STOOKEY RANCH HOUSE, SET IN A DRY WASH AS THE ROAD MAKES A CURVE TO THE EAST, IN THE TOP OF A LARGE FLAT ROCK, 68.0 FEET SOUTHEAST OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE ROAD, 3.0 FEET NORTHEAST OF A WHITE REFERENCE POST.
