My recollection is that this restaurant was opened after WWII when downtown was in it's heyday. This was a very swanky place at night and serve a brisk business crowd at lunch. Eventually, declining business and health forced the owners to close up shop. The tubes on the front of the sign are either broken or missing but seem to be intact on the side. It may light up but it hasn't happened in a few years. I have attached an article predicting the fate of this little piece of history.
